Stop Motion Project
I decided to do this project with my fellow classmate and friend Sydney Phongsirikul. Though Sydney and I are close friends, coming up with ideas and agreeing on the those ideas was much more difficult than I had expected.

Researching things like how to put the components of the video together or how to edit the photos required us to be patient and considerate of one another's actions and opinions while still being vocal during the decision-making process.
One of the things I was tasked with doing was to find background music that would suit our finished stop motion video. Knowing that our music preferences were quite different, it wasn't a surprise that she'd turn down the first set of songs that I had presented. After throwing out what seemed like the hundredth song choice, we were both able to compromise and choose a song that the both of us were content with.

Collaborating with a friend comes with its ups and downs, but in the end Sydney and I were really pleased with the outcome of our final stop motion video considering that it was both our first time making such a video. Essentially, we both enjoyed the entire process and are hoping to collaborate again to make another stop motion video for fun.

Promotional Project for El Cerrito High School

This project required me to design a poster of some sort for someone of the El Cerrito High School (ECHS) staff that needed something to be promoted. After being given a list of different events coming up soon, I decided to contact Coach Khan regarding the Homecoming Game that would take place soon.
I had to ask Coach Khan for the details of the game (date, time, location) before I could actually start working in Adobe Illustrator. Once I finished the first draft of the design I had to ask for his opinion & after speaking with him, I needed to change a few things based on his opinions because as the client, it was his opinion that mattered most.

I never imagined myself being involved in the matters of my school's football team, but collaborating with Coach Khan was an interesting and fun experience.
